For over thirty years I have watched systems, politics, and power struggle to govern the people while forgetting the most essential truth: a nation cannot be free unless its people govern themselves.

Self-Governance is the foundation of INDEPENDENCE.
It is the root of liberty, the safeguard of rights, and the measure of responsibility. It cannot be bought, sold, or legislated. It must be lived — one decision, one family, one community at a time.

When each man and woman accepts accountability for their words, their work, and their way, then peace has a chance to flourish. Without self-governance, no law can bring justice. With it, every neighbor can live free.

This is the Law of community.
This is the Law of God.
This is the strength of America.

Let us rise as a people who govern ourselves first, and in so doing, stand worthy to govern together.
