Our Purpose
Every Memorial Day Weekend, we gather to honor those who served, those we’ve lost, and the heritage that shaped our land and our family. It’s a time for reflection, celebration, and standing tall in the shadow of sacrifice and legacy.
Weekend Traditions
- Friday Night: Welcome Campfire, Storytelling, and Flag Raising
- Saturday: Ranch-Style Breakfast, Creeker Canyon Smoke-Off (BBQ Ribs & Steak), Family Games, and Stargazing
- Sunday: Church Service or Moment of Silence, Heritage Hike, Ancestor Scroll Readings
- Monday (Memorial Day): Flag Ceremony, Veteran Recognition, Patriotic Picnic, and 9:00 PM “Light for the Lost” Lantern Release
Recipes We Always Remember
We smoke our best cuts with Creeker Canyon Rub™ and glaze with Sweet Heat. Don’t forget Dutch oven cobbler and cast iron cornbread! New dishes are always welcome—just bring your heart and your heritage.
2025 Theme: “Stand Tall, Shine Bright”
Inspired by the meaning of Rancho del Oro—our “Ranch of Gold”—this year we honor light, courage, and the gold we carry inside when we remember our roots.
