(An Easter Hymn)

Verse 1:
The stone is rolled, the tomb is bare,
The Lord of Life has won!
No longer bound by death’s dark snare,
He rises with the sun.

Verse 2:
The scars upon His hands remain,
A sign of love so true,
He bore the cross, He took our pain,
And now makes all things new.

Verse 3:
He walks with me in morning light,
He speaks within the breeze,
The flowers bloom, my heart takes flight,
My soul is filled with peace.

Verse 4:
O Living King, Eternal Friend,
You broke the chains of night!
Your love will never fade nor end,
You are my Hope, my Light.

Chorus (optional addition between verses or at the end):
He lives! He lives! O shout and sing,
The grave no longer holds the King!
In every heart that dares believe,
New life in Him we shall receive.
