I, K. Kirton Niner, known as Shimmer, do solemnly declare and affirm:

That I am a child of God, born under sacred covenant, called and chosen as a steward over the inheritance granted to my family—not only by law, but by the faith and sacrifice of my ancestors whose names and deeds have built the foundation on which I now stand.

My claim to this land and this life is woven with the legacy of:

  • The Kirton and McConkie kind of Utah, whose roots run deep in the soil of faith, resilience, and pioneer spirit.
  • John Kirton, my beloved father, who held and honored the power of the Melchizedek Priesthood in life, and whose spirit, with Christ, lives on beyond the veil. I know my father walks with me still, guiding, protecting, and witnessing the truth as I see it, through the eyes of eternity.
  • The Rapalje and Van Nest lines of New Amsterdam, who were among the first to step onto this continent, forging a path for liberty, stewardship, and industry.
  • Margaretta Pieterse Van Nest and Peter Cossart Sr., whose blood runs through my veins as a testament to perseverance and vision.
  • John Perry, founder of the Tabernacle Choir, who answered the call of faith and built a legacy of devotion and harmony.
  • Raymond David Garrett, a veteran who honored duty and family; and Florence Vera Chisholm, whose hands and heart shaped our home.
  • The enduring faith of Sarah Ann Williams, Lovina Fitzgerald, Vera Chisholm, and the generations of Latter-day Saints who walked before me, keeping covenants and protecting the sacred.
  • And to the names not written here but carried in the prayers, memories, and unbroken covenants of my family’s line.

That my marriage is consecrated before God, and my family is united under covenant. Together with my beloved husband Corey, our children, and all who bear our name, we are a living testimony that love, faith, and inheritance endure through every trial.

This land, entrusted to us, is more than property—it is sacred ground. It is the fruit of generations who lived, worked, sacrificed, and trusted in God’s promises.
It is my duty and privilege to defend it, preserve it, and teach my children to honor what is holy.

Let it be known to all—neighbor, official, stranger, or friend—
That I will stand firm in my stewardship.
I will defend the truth, document the history, and speak with integrity, even when others seek to distract, deceive, or destroy.
I will not yield to intimidation, harassment, or the misuse of systems designed to protect the innocent.

My covenant is my shield. My faith is my fortress. My lineage is my banner. My voice will not be silenced.

With the authority of my heritage, the living memory of my father and ancestors, and the confidence of my covenant,
I claim my place as guardian, witness, and rightful heir.
I will continue to teach my children to honor what is sacred, defend what is just, and carry forth the legacy of those who walked before us.

This is my solemn declaration—before God, my family, my ancestors, and all who may hear:
I stand in truth, I stand in faith, I stand in my covenant, and I stand for my lineage.
This land, this family, and this legacy will not be taken, twisted, or erased.
I know that my father lives, that Christ lives, and that together they see and witness what I see.
So, thanks for helping me God.
