“I Don’t Just Keep The Commandments. I Keep My Covenant.”

I was not baptized into silence.
I do not follow Christ with my eyes closed and my voice hidden.
I open my world by choice, not obligation.
I share because I love, not because I owe.
So if you stepped into my world and tried to claim it—
That was your error. Not my invitation.

I am a keeper of the commandments, yes.
But more than that—I keep my covenant.
I seek to be like Christ to the best of my ability,
And no one—no one—gets to use that against me.

If I feel anger, I name it.
If I feel upset, I own it.
But you do not get to decide my spirit,
And you certainly do not get to rule my world.

“I’m kind enough to tell the truth — so thanks for helping me, God.”
