Our Return Home – Summer 2022
Does This Help® Tell Our Story?
After an unforgettable Summer Tour—one filled with fresh Redwood Forest air, a 150-Year Historic Yellowstone Adventure, and our First Race at Mormon Lake—we returned home to face what no Landowner should ever have to: Trespass, Destruction, and Harassment.
Like many neighbors whose Patent Parcel isn’t split, we live on a 2.5-acre U.S. Patented Parcel in the Maricopa Unincorporated County Islands. Our Land is not part of any HOA, City, or Subdivision—just the open Arizona Desert, Governed by Natural Law and Federal Patent Rights.
But while we were away, our new neighbors—who told us they came from “Chicago”—took it upon themselves to enter our land, remove protected vegetation, and disrupt the very ecosystem we purchased to Farm. That trespass has since escalated into harassment, false accusations, and even assault against what is rightfully ours. THEY RAPPED OUR GROUNDS and are now suing us in an attempt to take our Private Property.
They threw away all my dried cholla—carefully placed by hand to mark and defend our boundary line. They threw away what was precious to us… a go-cart tire with a flag—a simple relic, mostly missed by the other three, still inside our fenced yard. These were not just objects. These were part of our home. Part of our story. And they treated them like trash.
Everything they are suing us for is what they did to us. They destroyed our property, trespassed, and now accuse us of the very harm they caused. We have done nothing but hold our line—like any good Veteran’s Daughter, like any Child of God would. In God We Trust.
I don’t recognize these people. They are completely alien to me. Not neighbors. Not part of our hood. Not part of our way of life. And I want to see ARIZONA, CORRECT THEM.
My Veteran Friend and Photographer, Steve Martell, flew his drone over the property to document the damage. Can you see it? Native plants ripped away, tire ruts cut deep into the soil—this is a violation of more than property. This is a Violation of Peace, Privacy, and Lawful Protection.
This is not just our story. It’s the story of many who live independently and lawfully—until someone else believes they can do whatever they want, wherever they want. This post is for every Land Steward standing up against entitlement and the erosion of boundary lines.
