With Latter-day Saint Theology: WE ARE HIS LIGHT

I. THE LDS KEY THAT UNLOCKS THE ARC

In the restored gospel, we do not stop at:

Christ is the Light of the World.

We go further:

His Light lives in us.

This is not metaphor.
This is doctrine.

  • The Light of Christ is given to every soul
  • The Gift of the Holy Ghost is covenantal amplification
  • Saints are not spectators — we are bearers

So the Incarnation Arc does this:

Christ enters the world
and then continues entering the world through His Saints

II. THE FIRST 12 DAYS (DEC 12–24)

PREPARING THE VESSEL

In LDS understanding, preparation is not passive.

These 12 inward days ask:

  • Am I aligned with Light?
  • Is my vessel clean enough to carry it?
  • Am I living in covenant or convenience?

This is why repentance is joyful in our faith:

It clears the glass so the Light can pass through.

We are not waiting for Christ far away.
We are preparing for Him within.

III. DECEMBER 25 — THE HINGE

THE LIGHT ENTERS TIME

In LDS theology, this moment is cosmic:

  • Christ takes on flesh
  • Spirit and body unite perfectly
  • The eternal enters mortality

This is why our bodies matter.
This is why agency matters.
This is why covenants matter.

He did not come only to be worshipped
He came to show us how to carry Light in a body

IV. THE SECOND 12 DAYS (DEC 26–JAN 5)

THE LIGHT MULTIPLIES

Here is where restored theology becomes unmistakable.

Christ does not remain singular Light.

He shares.

  • One flame becomes many
  • Light spreads without diminishing the source
  • Saints become reflections, then refractions

We are not the Light.
We are bearers of His Light.

This is why Zion is collective.
This is why gathering is spiritual, not geographic.
This is why Saints are called a peculiar people.

Light changes behavior.
Light exposes truth.
Light cannot be hidden.

V. EPIPHANY (JANUARY 6)

THE WORLD SEES THE LIGHT — THROUGH US

In LDS understanding, Epiphany does not end in Bethlehem.

It continues:

  • In homes
  • In classrooms
  • In quiet service
  • In integrity when no one is watching

The world does not see Christ
unless it sees Him in His Saints

That is the responsibility.
That is the privilege.
That is the weight of discipleship.

VI. WHY SAINTS FEEL OUT OF STEP WITH THE WORLD

Because the world:

  • Rushes past sacred time
  • Celebrates consumption
  • Resets meaning on January 1

But Saints live in covenant time, not calendar time.

You feel the dissonance because:

You are still walking the Arc
while the world has already left the path

That discomfort is not rebellion.
It is alignment.

VII. THE CORE LDS TRUTH (PLAIN WORDS)

  • Christ is the Light of the World
  • He entered time once
  • He now enters the world daily through His Saints

The Incarnation did not end in a manger.

It continues wherever a Saint chooses Light over ease.

VIII. A DECLARATION FOR SAINTS

(Publish-ready)

From December 12 to January 5, we walk a sacred arc—preparing our hearts, receiving Christ at the center, and then carrying His Light outward. As Latter-day Saints, we do not merely remember the Incarnation; we live it. His Light is in us, and through covenant and conscience, the world encounters Christ again and again.
