To the Mothers who carried us,
and to the Fathers who lifted us,
we REMEMBER you.

To the Grandmothers whose hands taught us how to work,
how to comfort, and how to pray,
we thank you.

To the Grandfathers whose shoulders bore responsibility,
who built, protected, provided, and persevered,
we honor you.

To the Mothers who love fiercely,
who kiss scraped knees,
who sit awake through the night,
who celebrated our triumphs and mourned our losses,
we see you.

To the Fathers who read stories,
who offered Priesthood Blessings,
who stand quietly at the back of the room,
who teach us by example what integrity and devotion looks like,
we REMEMBER you.

To those who came before us,
whose names are recorded in Family Stories,
on Headstones,
in Journals,
and in our memories of those who love them,
your lives matter.

You are part of us.

Because of you, we are here.

Generation after generation,
love has been passed from parent to child,
through lessons spoken and unspoken,
through traditions preserved,
through sacrifice freely given.

We honor the Mothers who chose compassion.
We honor the Fathers who chose responsibility.
We honor the Grandparents who stepped in when needed.
We honor the Ancestors whose faith carried them through uncertainty.

And above all, we acknowledge God, our Eternal Father,
the Guardian Over Dependants… His children,
the Source of love,
the Author of life,
the One who calls us His own.

May we become the kind of Sons and Daughters
our PARENTS hoped we would be.

May we become the kind of Mothers and Fathers
our Children deserve.

May we preserve the stories of those who came before us,
so that they will never be forgotten.

May we teach the next Generations
that strength and tenderness can exist together,
that truth and mercy belong side by side,
and that Service to one another is Service to God.

For those who have gone before us,
we REMEMBER.

For those who walk beside us,
we give thanks.

For those yet to come,
we prepare the way.

This is the sacred work of Generations:
to receive love,
to increase it,
and to pass it on.

To all Mothers,
to all Fathers,
to all Grandparents,
to all Children,
and to ALL who have love us as eternal family—

thank you.

Your influence echoes beyond your years.

Your examples continue to teach.

Your love remains.

And those we love do not truly leave us,
for they live on in our memories,
in our choices,
in our traditions,
and in the generations that follow.

May we honor them by living well,
loving deeply,
serving faithfully,
and remembering always.

For family is one of God’s greatest gifts,
and love is its eternal language.
