Families are complicated. Covenants are complicated. Love, heartbreak, forgiveness, and memory stretch across generations in ways only God fully understands.
As a child born into promises made before God, I felt those promises deeply. When my parents separated, it did not just feel like paperwork to me — it felt like the shaking of a whole world I once believed could never break apart.
Some days I laugh and say I feel like Cinderella in a blended kingdom of personalities, stories, and relationships still learning how to coexist. But even fairy tales carry lessons about endurance, identity, humility, work, and continuing forward when life does not unfold the way we imagined.
My Father taught me strength, accountability, honesty, and reverence for God, my Eternal Father. My Mother taught me survival, endurance, and what it means to continue standing after life changes shape around you.
So here I stand:
not perfect,
not finished,
not without grief,
but still believing in healing, restoration, agency, and truth.
This world shakes sometimes — families too.
But even after the shaking, Zion is still built one soul, one home, one act of service, and one honest prayer at a time.
