There’s something I want to be very clear about — not because I need agreement, but because I value truth spoken plainly.

I believe in God.
I believe I am a child of God.
And I try, every day, to live as Christ taught — through my actions.

My faith is not loud.
It is lived.

I believe Bible to be the word of God.
And I believe Book of Mormon to be the word of God.

That is not a contradiction — it is exactly what is stated in the Articles of Faith:

“We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.”

That statement matters to me because it acknowledges something most people already understand in every other part of life:
process matters.

The Book of Mormon was translated once, with a clear and consistent origin.
The Bible has many translations, editions, interpretations, and revisions across centuries.

That doesn’t make the Bible untrue.
It means discernment is required.

Anyone who understands systems — law, contracts, history, technology, or even simple version control — knows that the more times something is translated or revised, the more context must be considered.

This isn’t about dismissing scripture.
It’s about respecting truth enough to read carefully.

I don’t ask people to believe what I believe.
I ask only one thing:

Read.
Read the Book of Mormon.
Observe how I live.
Then decide for yourself.

That is agency.
That is Christlike.
That is Zion as I understand it.

Zion is not a place on a map.
Zion is how we treat one another.
Zion is integrity, accountability, service, and restraint.

I live in the knowledge that this continent has always been populated, that history is larger than simplified stories, and that truth doesn’t shrink just because it makes people uncomfortable. The Americas are vast, connected, and ancient — and understanding that doesn’t erase faith, it deepens it.

I don’t comply with beliefs I don’t hold.
I don’t demand others adopt mine.

What I do expect is respect — the same respect I give.

My faith is not something I perform.
It is something I practice.

And if you want to understand who I am, don’t argue with me.
Read.
Watch.
Listen.

That has always been enough.
