MINISTERING 101 WITH KRYSTA

@ theChurchofJesusChristoflatter-daySaints.site

Ministering is not a program.
It is not a checklist.
It is not a calling you wait to be assigned.

Ministering is who you are when you remember whose you are.

“My body is my temple.
My home is His church.
I minister to others because He ministers to you through me.”

This is Ministering 101.

1. YOUR BODY IS YOUR TEMPLE

Before you can minister to another, you must understand yourself as sacred.

In 1 Corinthians, we are taught that our bodies are temples of God.

That means:

  • How you speak matters
  • How you act matters
  • How you care for yourself matters

You don’t show up empty—you show up as a vessel.

2. YOUR HOME IS HIS CHURCH

Church is not just a building you attend.
Church is a spirit you carry.

Your home becomes His church when:

  • Peace is present
  • Truth is spoken
  • Love is felt without condition

A kitchen table can be more sacred than a chapel when hearts are open.

3. MINISTERING IS TENDING TO ONE

Ministering is not about numbers.
It is about the one.

In Mosiah, we are reminded that when we serve others, we serve God.

That looks like:

  • Sitting beside someone who is suffering
  • Holding their hand when they cannot speak
  • Talking to them until they find their voice again
  • Showing up when it’s uncomfortable

Ministering is presence.

4. YOU ARE NOT THE SOURCE — YOU ARE THE VESSEL

You are not asked to fix people.
You are not asked to save them.

You are asked to:

  • Love
  • Listen
  • Be there

Christ does the healing.
You provide the hands.

5. MINISTERING IS ACTION

It is:

  • Massaging hands that are clenched in pain
  • Bringing comfort without being asked
  • Speaking life when someone feels close to death
  • Refusing to give up on someone when they cannot fight for themselves

Ministering is not loud.
It is not performative.
It is real.

FINAL TRUTH

You do not need permission to minister.

You do not need a title.
You do not need recognition.

If you have love in your heart—
you are already called.

Chosen by your own action.
