We talk about Jesus Christ like He appeared fully formed—like His strength, His wisdom, His obedience just were.
But I don’t see it that way.
Not anymore.
I see a Mother.
Mary, Mother of Jesus was a woman of this Earth—just like me, just like you.
A Daughter of God.
Chosen, yes—but still human.
She carried Him.
She raised Him.
She taught Him what she knew of their Eternal Father.
Before the world ever heard His voice…
He heard hers.
Before He walked in His purpose…
He walked beside His Mother.
And then there was the Father, Joseph.
A man who didn’t have to stay.
Didn’t have to take on the weight.
Didn’t have to be Father to a child that wasn’t his by blood.
But he did.
He chose to stand.
He chose to protect.
He chose to provide.
He chose to teach.
That’s what makes a great Father— a Eternal Companion
not obligation…
but choice.
So when I look at Christ, I don’t just see my Savior.
I see a Child.
A Child raised by a Mother who loves God.
A Child guided by a Father who chooses responsibility.
A family that lives the example of what they believe.
And maybe that’s what the world keeps missing.
We don’t need more words about Christ.
We need more people willing to live like the family that raised Him.
Mothers who teach truth.
Fathers who choose to stay.
Children who grow up knowing who they are.
Because being a Child of God isn’t just something we say—
it’s something we’re supposed to live.
And in this house… in this Creekerhood…
We remember:
👉 Love is taught
👉 Fatherhood is chosen
👉 And legacy is lived, not spoken
