AMERICA, LOOK IN THE MIRROR—NO KING BUT CHRIST, NO PEACE WITHOUT COURAGE
A Letter to the Core of the American Spirit: Who Will You Let Reign—in Your Heart, In Your Home, In Your Country?

America, the moment is here. Not tomorrow, not at the next election. Now. The crossroads isn’t some distant myth—it’s the reality staring us down in the grocery aisle, the living room, the school board, and the halls of every church.
We are not a nation of kings. We are not a people who bow to golden calves or slick-haired strongmen who promise to “save” us if only we’ll hand them our souls. That’s not our story. That’s not our blood. That’s not what our grandmothers prayed for or our grandfathers died for.
So why are we so quick to kneel to a mortal—any mortal—who demands loyalty to himself over loyalty to truth, to freedom, to justice, to God?
AMERICA’S TRUE BEDROCK
America was never built for a king.
It was built by men and women who staked everything on the belief that each of us—black or white, rich or poor, immigrant or native, believer or skeptic—could be trusted with freedom, so long as we remembered where that freedom comes from.
Not from the mouth of a politician, but from the very breath of God.
We wrote it in the Declaration:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights…”
We pledge it with our children:
“One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
So why do we act like we need a king? Why do we treat politicians—left, right, or center—like messiahs? Why do we call evil good if it’s done in our party’s name, and call truth a lie if it costs us something?
A CHALLENGE TO EVERY AMERICAN HEART
If you claim Christ, then listen up:
He never asked you to surrender your mind, your courage, or your soul to any mortal man. He called you to be equal, to be whole, to stand with him—never to let someone else rule you in his place.
And to those who wield his name for their own gain:
You can quote scripture, hold rallies, and wave the flag all you want. But if you trade compassion for cruelty, if you demand loyalty to yourself above love for neighbor, if you stoke fear and division while preaching unity—you are building the golden calf at the foot of Sinai, and calling it revival.
WHAT IT REALLY MEANS TO BE “UNDER GOD”
To be under God is to be under truth—especially when it hurts.
To be under God is to be free enough to say “no” to every voice—left or right—that would make you less than what God calls you to be.
To be under God is to fight for justice for your neighbor, even when your neighbor would not fight for you.
To be under God is to look every would-be king in the eye and say: “You are my brother, not my ruler. You are my sister, not my sovereign.”
THE FINAL CALL: AMERICA, STAND UP
Do not sell your birthright for the empty promise of “winning.”
Do not let any mortal name—be it Trump, Biden, or any other—replace the true King whose only throne was a cross, whose only campaign was love, whose only crown was thorns.
This is your heritage. This is your calling. This is the soul of America—
Not a land of kings, but a nation of equals.
Not a people who serve men, but a people who walk together with God.
The age of kings is dead. The time for true discipleship—true American courage—is now.
LET THE RECORD SHOW
Let every future son and daughter, every neighbor and stranger, every citizen and dreamer read it in tomorrow’s headline:
No king but Christ. No liberty but for all. No justice but that which lifts the lowliest among us. And no future worth having unless we build it together.
America, your crown is your conscience.
Your freedom is your faith.
Your hope is not in a man who demands your worship,
But in the God who calls you friend.
