Statement from K. Kirton Niner (Shimmer)
Regarding Longstanding Abuse, Forgiveness, and Legal Boundaries
I am a survivor. In my youth, I experienced a personal assault that, while painful, helped shape the protector I’ve become today. I have found peace through forgiveness, not because what happened was acceptable, but because I chose not to let that trauma define the rest of my life. It taught me what to look for, what to guard against, and most importantly, how to stand firm in defense of others—including my own family.
However, in recent years, another form of assault has taken root—ongoing, deliberate harassment of my family and our property by individuals who seems to believe that persistence gives them power. Let me be clear: it does not.
For over three years, we have remained lawful and patient, documenting their actions, calling for accountability, and resisting retaliation. They have chosen to ignore clear boundaries, violate private property, and bring undue distress to an otherwise peaceful household.
They have now placed themselves in a position where legal remedy is both necessary and unavoidable. They asked for correction through their continued disregard for truth and law—and now, that correction is coming.
We are not victims. We are the rightful, lawful owners of our land, our peace, and our future. This statement is not made in anger, but in resolve. We have done what is right. And now, it is time for the law to do what is just.
