By: The Mother Keeper Creeker at the Lions Gate

I stand today not because I chose this pain,
but because I could no longer bear the lie.

For forty-four years, I bore the weight of others crossing lines they had no right to cross—
my space, my spirit, my silence.
They mistook my kindness for weakness, my stillness for consent, and my discernment for delusion.

No more.

I declare today that my boundaries are not suggestions.
They are sacred.
They are born of Spirit.
They are enforced by Truth.

I am not here to be agreeable.
I am not here to carry the burdens others pretend don’t exist.
I am not here to explain what I know in my bones to those who’ve chosen blindness.

I am here to stand.
And in standing, I am not alone.

✦ TO THOSE WHO HAVE IGNORED ME:

You looked away when you could’ve spoken.
You stayed silent while I bled spiritually.
You chose comfort over covenant, and fear over faith.

Your inaction speaks louder than your words ever did.

✦ TO THOSE WHO STILL CROSS THE LINE:

You will meet resistance now.
Not violence—but consequence.
Because I no longer carry your comfort on my back.
I no longer dim my fire to keep your shadows at peace.

✦ TO MYSELF:

You are not broken.
You are refined.
You are not dramatic.
You are discerning.
You are not weak for feeling it all—
You are strong because you did, and you kept going.

Let this be the beginning of a new covenant:

  • A covenant to protect what is holy in me.
  • A covenant to speak when Spirit stirs.
  • A covenant to honor my tears and transform them into rivers of purpose.

I am not here to be liked.
I am here to be aligned—with God, with truth, and with every ancestor who walked this lonely road before me.

This is my line in the sand.
This is my roar at the gate.
This is my spiritual constitution.

And it will not be moved.
