Subject: Formal Request to Withdraw from Community Mailbox Delivery and Reinstate Curbside USPS Carrier Delivery to Historic On-Site Mailbox

Dear Postmaster,

I write on behalf of my husband, Corey J. Niner, sole legal owner of the federally patented land parcel at 31040 N. 64th Street, Cave Creek, AZ 85331, where we reside full-time and operate two registered businesses:

  • DOES THIS HELP® / Co‑Investments and Properties
  • K9R RACING, LLC

Although we currently have access to a centralized community mailbox system, we are not part of the subdivision it serves and are not under any HOA jurisdiction. We have no contractual obligation to use the community mailbox.

📬 Our Historic Mailbox: Already In Place Before 2017

When we purchased this home in 2017, we specifically requested that the existing roadside mailbox remain in its original location. It had already been installed when the home was built and shows signs of historic use, consistent with direct curbside delivery prior to the development of the community box system.

This was not a new installation. It was a deliberate choice to preserve the independent nature of this parcel and maintain continuity of USPS delivery. The mailbox remains in compliance with all USPS guidelines, including height, placement, address marking, and roadside accessibility.

📦 Delivery Mishandling Example: “Deliver with Love”

Most recently, a package containing living plants arrived labeled “Deliver with Love.” Instead of being treated with the care and delivery attention it required, it was mishandled—left in a location where we had to go searching for it, despite being home and having a dedicated, marked mailbox on the land.

This is one of many examples where the current delivery system—reliant on contractors, not official USPS carriers—has failed to deliver packages respectfully, accurately, or safely to the actual property. This affects both our family and our businesses.

📨 Our Request

We respectfully request that USPS:

  • Withdraw our address from the community mailbox system, and
  • Reinstate curbside delivery via USPS carrier to the historically placed mailbox at our address.

We are ready to provide:

  • Deed or tax proof of land ownership,
  • Business registration for DOES THIS HELP® and K9R RACING, LLC,
  • Documentation showing the continued presence of the original mailbox since the time of purchase.

We are also open to a site visit or any additional verification USPS may require.

⚖️ Closing

This is not a request for new infrastructure. It is a request to honor the delivery location and service that existed before, and to restore proper service to an address that remains outside the authority of HOA enforcement and contractor-based delivery.

We deeply appreciate your time, and we trust that you will work with us to correct this situation and reinstate proper carrier service to our address.

Sincerely,

K. Kirton Niner
