The house of the Lord, Jesus Christ, is a place of peace, reflection, and truth. When I visit to partake of his Sacrament, I feel a strong connection to God our Eternal Father and to my Eternal Brother, Jesus Christ — eternal family we turn to with TRUTH FREEDOM AND JUSTICE, whose name we speak with reverence and gratitude for what he does for us through the power of the Holy Ghost. This is not just a meetinghouse—it is a place where God the Eternal Father, his son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost reside in Town and we the Children of God practice the Restored Gospel of the Primitive Church. We know their guidance well and I am grateful for knowing as God’s Children we are all watched over through the power of the Holy Ghost. I carry with me the teachings I was given from my Father, who more than Baptized me, and the legacy of faith that continues through Generations ahead and behind me. I testify that the Book of Mormon is true. The people and stories within it are real, and they speak of lives lived on this very continent—lessons that Christ stood before them and taught them himself after his resurrection that still matter today. That truth is something I feel confirmed again each time I gather here.
